Floral prints <3

Stockholm is one of the most beautiful places on earth this part of the year. If you just manage to pass the crowds of tourists at the beginning of Djurgården you come to an oasis, a piece of countryside in the city center. Among sheep, horses and endless green fields you find Thielska Galleriet, a villa by the sea where I went last Saturday to see an exhibition with the works of the 'Jobs sisters'. Lisbet and Gocken Jobs created ceramics and textiles that made Swedish homes blossom during the post-war period. Wild flower bouquets covers ceramic dishes and tiles while lingon- and blueberries are arranged into decorative patterns applied onto hand printed textiles. I love the strong saturated colors, and when the prints “bleed” a little during printing, when they're not perfect. I took some pictures of my favorites as these are a true source of inspiration for me.
